Romans 6:14     For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

    Notice here the word "dominion".  Before we are saved, sin
rules over our lives, or has dominion over us.  After we become
saved, sin is still present in our life, but it does not rule over us.
In our will, we never want to sin again, and God's spirit helps us
to turn away from it.
