From Me Is Thy Fruit Found

In the book of Hosea, Hosea the prophet makes this statement under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:
Hosea 14:8,9...From me is thy fruit found.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

In Philippians 1:11, the Bible also speaks about fruit --
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Fruits of righteousness are the working of Christ within us.  They come from Christ, not us.  In Romans 7:18, the apostle Paul says, For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing:  Nevertheless, God has chosen to work His good works through us.  He has chosen to use us as His interments for bearing fruit.  We should, however, always remember that the good works are the product of His Spirit and not a product of us; they are the working of His Grace and not our ability.  Therefore, all the glory and praise and credit for those works should go to Him; the excellency of the power is of God, and not of us 2Corinthians 4:7 (note that "power" means -- the ability to do work).  In us dwells no good thing (Romans 7:18) the goodness that might flow from us is flowing from Christ within us.  Each good work is actually a love gift from the LORD given to us. Ecclesiastes  3:12,13 says I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.  And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

Nevertheless,
Hosea 14:8,9...From me is thy fruit found.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

God  has designed things so that He needs us to bear the fruits of righteousness that He wants to bear.  We are the vessels that he uses to pour out His Spirit to others. Who is wise and shall understand this?  In a sense, because God has designed things a certain way, His fruit cannot be found (or seen ) without us.
In conclusion:
If we want others to taste and see that the LORD is good (Psalm 34:8), there is something that we can do--HE can't do it without us; (and we can’t do it without Him, see John 15:4,5 ) it's the way He has designed it.

Here is a WARNING from the book of  Esther:
Esther 4:14  If you altogether hold your peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the jews from another place; but you and your father's house shall be destroyed: and who knows whether or not you are come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

If we refuse to do God's will and deny Him, He will save His people through other means.
(but it is an indication that we probably are not saved and will be destroyed when God judges the world. see Matthew 7:21  Not every one who says unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.)

True Salvation is evident by the bearing of fruit.  We are not saved by bearing fruit, but if we are truly saved, fruits of righteousness will be evident in our life.  Matthew 13:3-23 shows this, in the parable of the sower.  (see also Ephesians 2:10)

Back to our verse--

Hosea 14:8 ...From me is thy fruit found.
The whole verse reads,
Hosea 14:8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do anymore with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree.  From me is thy fruit found.

Note that his bearing fruit was the result of first ** hearing ** God and observing Him.

(We hear God by bowing down our ear to His Holy Word.  His Word then bears fruit within us...
see Colossians 1:5,6
...For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth)
